Forestry Products

Brazil has almost 500 million hectares of forests, with more than 97% of this area being covered by natural vegetation. The biodiversity that is contained in those natural areas is a significant source of forest products and ecosystem services, and has an important social responsability.

Currently, the country has 1,050 million hectares under federal concession and Sustainable Forest Management that produced 247,000 cubic meters of wood in 2019. Sustainable forest management technologies make it possible to quantify the stocks of timber and non-timber forest resources, learn sustainable use limits, and manage them to produce sustainable goods and services to society, introducing those forest assets into the national and international bioeconomy. Forest crops, which are mostly composed of species of the genera Eucalyptus and Pinus, contribute 1.3% of the national GDP and 6.9% of the industrial GDP, creating 3.8 million jobs.

Brazil is one of the leading producers of cellulose, paper and wood panels in the world and the Brazilian forest-based industry is recognized for its high level of forest technology and productivity.

Plywood – Grade A                   Thickness (mm) : 12 /15/18        – Dimensions (mm) : 2.440 x 1.220

A-Grade Plywood the highest grade and quality of plywood is A-grade. It is usually sanded smooth and clear with no visible imperfections or flaws, so is the most expensive.

Plywood – Grade B                   Thickness (mm) : 12 /15/18        – Dimensions (mm) : 2.440 x 1.220

B-grade plywood is an option for an almost perfect sheet of plywood.

B-grade plywood has a mostly smooth surface and a solid foundation. Some repairs might have been made on this plywood, but B-grade would have only minor flaws.

Plywood – Grade C                   Thickness (mm) : 12 /15/18        – Dimensions (mm) : 2.440 x 1.220

C-grade is un-sanded and may have several minor defects that will need to be repaired with knots up to 5 – 10cm across, discoloration and sanding defects.

C-grade plywood should be used when appearance is not important, such as for subfloors or garages.

Plywood – Grade C+C&OES     Thickness (mm) : 12/15/18        – Dimensions (mm) : 2.440 x 1.220

Made with special blades, its faces are composed of selected category C Pinus Blades, with application of acrylic waterproofing, providing protection against moisture.

It has corrections with the application of acrylic mass of high durability, as well as sealing edges with high sealing power .

Plywood –  Tongue and Groove  Thickness (mm) : 12/15/18       –   Dimensions (mm) : 2.440 x 1.220

T&G panels are recommended for floor and rood decking applications to obtain and increased point load resistance on painel joints. They may also be an option for wall paneling, offering very well matched join. A specially designed gap is left on the back of the painel joints, in order it can expand slighthly when in contact with water, avoinding buckling problems.

Plywood – Grade A-C                     Thickness (mm) : 12/15/18        –  Dimensions (mm) : 2.440 x 1.220

Multilaminated structural panel produceed with Pinus blades fixed with waterproof resistant phenolic resin, providing the panel with resistance for internal and external use. It stands out for the absence of knots and defects, since all repairs are made using all wood patches, ensuring formidable appearace and high surface quality. Suitable for application in furniture with apparent blade and receptive to the application of vamish or paint.

Plywood – Grade CP-C                  Thickness (mm) : 12/15/18        –   Dimensions (mm) : 2.440 x 1.220
Plywood – Grade CP-C                  Thickness (mm) : 21/24/27/30  –   Dimensions (mm) : 2.440 x 1.220

Characterized by its high level of structural durability and also by the high surface quality, this material stands out for its direct use in decks,

sigle-layer floor construction among other porpuses that require standardize fishing and performance. Also excelente for industrial application.

Plywood – Grade B-B O&ES         Thickness (mm) : 15/18               –  Dimensions (mm) : 2.440 x 1.220

Multilaminated product produced with pinus blades fixed with phenolic Resin, resistante to waterproof, and application of vegetagle oil on both sides, giving the material durability and structural performance.

Due to its production method, the application of oil on both sides, gives the product the perfect suitability for use as a form of concrete, being part of the structure of the construction due to the high surfasse quality and good appearance.

Plywood – Grade B-C                     Thickness (mm) : 12/15/18         – Dimensions (mm) : 2.440 x 1.220

Multilaminated product of Pinus fixed with waterprood resistant phenolic resin, having one of its faces produced in the classification B, characterized by the replacement of knots wooden patches and small repaired knots. This panel counts with a great surfasse and its resistance of moisture, enables B-C Plywood several porpuses, succh as application in residential, comercial, and industrial furniture.

Plywood – Grade CDX                    Thickness (mm) : 09/12/15/18 –   Dimensions (mm) : 2.440 x 1.220

High structural performance theses plywood are not repaired, however have the purpose for application at sidewalls crating, roof sheating, subflooring, packing, pallet componentes and others.

Plywood – Grade CCX                    Thickness (mm) : 09/12/15/18 –   Dimensions (mm) : 2.440 x 1.220

Applied for sheathing of roofs and walls. It can also be used due to its high performance, in the application of subfloor deck. They have no repairs and their posterior blade is made with grade C.
